I have a sister,living in my spirits,along with all of us,ever lively,lovely,effervescent and ebullient.
The child in this picture is my sister,called Soundara Umayal.(wherever the picture could be shown,posted or attached)
She was the darling of our family and the apple of our eyes.
She was so full of life,fun and Love that she filled our home with her presence.
She was so precious to all of us.We were extremely possessive of her.
My mother was extremely attached to her.
She had divine looks with the fairest complexion and deep blue eyes.
My grandmother used to gush often about those mesmerising blue eyes.
She was not only the darling of our parents and grandmother,but to her brothers also,especially to me.
We adored her as she adored us.

I have only these few memories of her,myself being four years old at that time.
She was two years old.
On that day which I remember,the Irrigation lake 'kanmaai'of our village had become almost dry and the villagers were allowed to catch the fish in it.
My mother was actively fishing in the kanmaai.I remember he r catching the slippery aaral fish which thrives in the muddy base of the kanmaai.
We had left our sister in the care of our grandmother at home.
At about 3 pm I went home.
My sister was looking for my mother from the westside 'Thinnai' of our house.
When I went there and was watching her she knelt on the floor and started picking up the one or two grains of rice with her tongue.
I stopped her from doing it and called her monkey for eating like that.
She laughed a bit but started to cry for mother.
I went to the kanmaai and told mother that sister is crying non-stop and she will have to come home.
Mother came home.What happened next,my four year old's memory is not able to recollect now.
Next what I remember was alarmingly listening to the sound of struggled breathing coming from the 'thottil' in which my sister was sleeping in the inside of our house,west side.
My mother and everyone rushed inside and my mother started crying 'what is happening to my daughter.Foam is coming from the mouth and she has convulsions.
The child was brought out and this only clear vision of me of my sister ever is in the light,someone,mother mostly,holding her on the lap and my father trying to bring consciousness by a folk method of pouring a drop of oil after heating it on a burnt dry chilli.I remember the bright fairness of my sister's complexion and her slightly plump baby body,which was healthy and adored all along.
The child did not respond and her head tilted.
My mother told to put more of that kalingam to awaken her.
My father after trying more was heard telling that the child appeared to have passed away.
Though she left us in her mortal body,she continues to live with us for ever in our spirits.

She lived like a queen and died like an empress.
Her body was given the farewell of a fairy queen by the whole village and the teachers of the school.
She lives in all of us with her Love and Spirit,bright and sparkling and playing, all the while.

In Public Sector,they manage to exist without performing anything by this simple trick.They transfer a person when people start blaming for non-performance and bring in a new person.For one year they excuse that the person is new and needs time to learn the new work.Next year,they start blaming the new person for not being able to perform.Third year,they decide to transfer the new person and claim that this person's transfer is being arranged and once his transfer takes place,the new person will be able to change everything and give results.Like this it goes on in cycles.Since no one watches any office or its functioning in continuity for years no one notices also this transfer trick being eternally played out.Bureucrats are more crafty in playing with people's memory than politicians.
The CR is the biggest joke in human history.They say it is for performance evaluation and the boss who himself is part of the delivery system evaluates the performance.Commonsense says that the beneficiary of the public sector's service,namely the public shoud be able to evaluate the performnace.Hoe the boss will evaluate?It naturally and inevitably has become the comic paradox that it is expected to become.Everyone in the hierarchy performs for the satisfaction of his boss's needs,whims and fancies,by sending peons,vehicles and everything else for the benefit of the boss's family to the satisfaction of the boss and the boss evaluates based on this 'service' and performance to him.Whether 'public service' itself is an oxymoron.I tend to be sure it is as things stand today.

tienduizenden rijwielen geparkeerd en er slechts een teenaged jongen permanente gemonteerd op een fiets over te laten, maar niet

leaving.While nadert hem kon ik niet nalaten op te merken dat hij de meest mooie jonge jongen had ik tot nu toe gezien in life.He

werd Golden adembenemend mooi met haar en rode lippen en een gebeiteld face.I vroeg hem de weg naar het Rijks Museum, dat

As I was walking in front of the Central Railway Station with a visit in mind to the Rijks Museum,I was searching for some

one to ask for directions.As I was crossing the cycle stand on the right of the station,I was beginning to wonder about the

tens of thousands of cycles parked there and only one teenaged lad standing mounted on a bicycle about to leave but not

leaving.While approaching him I could not fail to notice that he was the most beautiful young lad I had so far seen in life.He

was stunningly beautiful with golden hair and red lips and a chiselled face.I asked him the way to the Rijks Museum,which

he took some time to understand telling that there are so many museums in Amsterdam.After he became clear about my

intended visit to Rijks Museum,he explained the ways to reach the museum.

After showing the way,he asked from where I am,for which I answered I am from India,from the city of

Madras in South India.When he was trying to understand the geography of India,I told him that India is a vey big

country,with Delhi in the north,Calcutta in the east,Bombay in the west and Madras in the south all separated by about 2500

km from each other,in a rhombic pattern.He replied that Holland is a very small country,the other day he was travelling

across the country and it took him only two hours to cross from one border to the other.I asked him why there are so many

thousands of cycles parked there for which he told in Amsterdam nobody travels by car because it will pollute the city and

tourists will find it unhealthy to visit the city which was getting millions of visitors and the tourist inflow is the mainstay of

Holland's economy.He also told that there are no car manufacturers in Holland,only tractor manufacturers.It is the decision

of the people of Holland to preserve their environmental beauty and health by avoiding polluting vehicles.It is the best

example committment of the people to the environment,society,the Nation and Humanity.
After that I aske about some personal details about him,he told he was a first year student in a college and he has purchased

a flat where he was staying with his girlfriend.I asked whether he was married to live together with the girl for which he

replied she is just his girlfriend which to my Indian mind felt strange about which he felt strange.When he asked about me I

told him that I came to France for training in telecom technology which was arranged by my employer and when he

wondered about the expenditure I told it would be around ten thousand dollars which seemed to impress him.By this time

we became very friendly to each other and he told, if I felt like,I might make a visit to his home and wrote his full address on

the back of a McDonald receipt.I still preserve it as a memento.His name is Mathieu de Bakker and his address also can be

Popular support for religious government is declining in places like Iraq, according to a University of Michigan study. The researchers report that in 2004 only one-fourth of respondents polled believed that Iraq would be a better place if religion and politics were separated. By 2007, that proportion was one-third. Electrification has expanded around the world, from 40% connected in 1970 to 73% in 2000, and may reach 83% of the world's people by 2030. Democracy is Government of the people;it's a good idea,let us try it in India sometime!

What form of democracy India has

Democracy by its definition is a non-government

Power of the people means everyone is equally powerful,no one needs to obey or believe anyone other than himself

Everyone has to be responsible for his acts as well as the rights he has

This freedom is the central aim of democracy

Once freedom is granted democracy has achieved its highest purpose

Development and progress are subjective matters in democracy.

One man’s industrial prosperity is another man’s environmental poisoning .

One man’s materialistic ambitions are another man’s vulgar consumerism.

Debatable issues do not get priority in democracy.They only get debated endlessly
until a democratic dictator has his way.

In theory itself democracy can take many forms.

Because of its basic nature of Government by all, meaning Government by none,only when benefits have to be taken people will scurry and scamper.

When it comes to the dirty and dangerous business of actual Governance,like fighting terrorists,even Intelligence agencies will hide behind the least plausible fig leaf,to save their skins.

The axiom of being first for the banquet and last for the battle is eminently practicable and practiced without fail in democracies.

Having said that,the most visible democracies of UK,USA and India have great differences in their functioning,yet all are democracies.

UK is a monarchial democracy,an oxymoron by itself,king’s rule of the people by the people,see how it looks!

America is a Presidential form of democracy,meaning one man’s supremacy for his tenure,he can even declare major bloody wars vetoing his Houses of representatives .

India is a Parliamentary democracy and the President is only a figure-head!

The parliament is half-filled with the ex-royal family members,making it a semi-feudal parliament.

The other half is filled with ‘criminals’who are none but the perverted remnants of the Dada form of local governance.

This Grandfathergovernment was prevalent in rural India and got transplanted in Industrial and mining environments. It still lives in the form of kangaroo courts and best relied upon too.

The grandfathers have been replaced by the self-imposing godfathers.

The grandfather(Dada) of the extended family settles the intra-family disputes.

Inter-family disputes result in family wars(Gang wars)until the territories and business divisions are settled according to the strength of the families.

For Intra-family governance,the grandfather is ideal,because he has the wisdom and the experience and he cannot be partial to any side of his own family.

In Inter-family disputes too,the Dadas mostly settle without violence,and here too the family members can depend on their Dada to take the best care of their interests.

So Indian parliamentary democracy is actually a royalistic-feudalistic-criminal-grandfather variety of democracy,with a bureaucratic executive.

Democracy is infinitely adaptable and it adapts to the existing environment of mindsets,cultures and traditions.

It is so adaptable that a tyrant can call himself as a democratic tyrant,as long as he claims to be carrying out the will of the people.

The benefits and cares available in a grandfatherly system is not available to the people in a bureaucratic form of executive system!

The bureaucracy ONLY can take care of itself!

It is never in anybody’s interest to involve and settle impartially the disputes and grievances.

Bureaucracy by default becomes partner to the most-profitable party in any dispute.

Police always sides with the criminals,because they are their providers.Never think of their Government salaries.It is believed to be the tribute the people have to pay for having the honour of keeping the bureaucrat in the Payroll.For every movement of his little finger the bureaucrat will need benefits.

That is how wine-shops,bootlegging,bar-dancing,discos,drug-joints and prostitution are monopolized by the police with the partnership of either the under-world criminals called gangsters or the upper-world criminals called Dadas and politicians.

Whenver the politician-bureaucrat-police syndicate wants to monopolise any business,they first outlaw it and then take over it themselves .The outlawing part is to eliminate competition.

It is no wonder that the politicians,bureaucrats and the police never work for the common people,but they work for themselves and for their interest-groups,meaning families and favourites.

If you are part of one such family or gang or group and your needs are falling within the range and reach of your group,you will find things going for you remarkably well and easy.

Otherwise you will be hitting your head against stonewalls everywhere and find yourself blaming everything in the Government for corruption,inefficiency and insensitivity.

Well,it would have been a blessing if people can 'reject' their guilt,shame etc.

Normally they try to ignore or divert and distract themselves from the

offending or painful emotions,but these remain at a deeper (sub-terranean)

level until another life event triggers them all over again.

Those who want to come out of such emotional 'stuck-up'states have to

begin with examining their Basic Beliefs,by recollecting their MUSTS.

It is the beliefs that create the reactions,neither the events nor the

agents(people involved).

The individual's beliefs determine the emotional reactions.

This can be understood from the fact that all people do not feel guilt

or embarrassment to the same triggering situation.

The reactions are as diverse as there are people.Even the intensities

are also not the same.

Here lies the clue to work on the debilitating reactions to become

eventually free from them.

Review and validate your beliefs.

Fundamentally,no event or agent needs to trigger any shame

or any guilt in anyone.

It is only programmed by the 'environment' namely parents,peers,

teachers and religion,who aimed at creating some 'boundaries' to be

able to move in the society inoffensively.

But the results may be rewarding,neutral or unproductive

depending on the present situation in

life.No one intended your discomfort when creating those

boundaries,perhaps there may be

over-reactions and unintended bitterness involved in

the programming process,in the belief-

formation stage.It is never too late to review and revalidate

the beliefs which are counterproductive.

Anyone can lead an absolutely creative,productive and

fruitful life by consciouly reprogramming HIS or HER beliefs.

Song and dance indicate(or one of the indicators,when you are not inebriated and not under drugs) light and free state of mind(free from emotional hang ups like ruminations,grouses,grudges,hurts,regrets,self-curses)

can you preserve your light and free mind,your blissful spirit,in the middle of the cacaphony and confrontations that a normal life puts you in

have you identified all your provocations that trigger anger in you

have you realised that your need for respect,money,women,power and prestige are being used by provocateurs,even by practical-joke playing mischief-mongers,
to throw you off-balance and upset you,
because they enjoy the power of controlling your mood and your helplessness in doing nothing or not much about mockery and tease,
the way a oversensitive person to tickling gets tickled all the time by his friends for fun

after people are unfair,mean and nasty to you behind your back and on your face,can you erase at will the automatic hurt and hold no grudge whatsoever,SIMPLY because grouse, grudge and anger only hurt the holder not the provoker

or do you not get a hurt at all

all these must be possible if all the theories and knowledge and wisdom you believe to be possessing have helped you

you can substitute any other state of mind and emotional state familiar to you as indicative of a light fresh and free mind,a blissful mind,in the place of song and dance

anger is an emotion

have you got the knack to rule your emotions with your ideas

or you realised that you could not because you lose your mind when emotion is strong

or that it is simply because of losing your mind you became emotional in the first place

did you find them to be present mutually exclusively

and you desired that they are present simultaneously

watching one another in preserving your emotional energy and mental sanity

and regretted that your knowledge and understanding and wisdom on anger

could have rescued you from some angry situation

is it like one person shouting in fury to another not to get angry anytime in life

Is it like a drinking smoking doctor advising his patients not to drink and smoke because he KNOWS that these are unhealthy but finds no way to stop them himself, because he does not know how to overcome addiction,an emotional condition

everyone wants to be free from anger in a blissful way,

not repressing it and fighting it back,building it up like a simmering volcano and bursting it out in one violent eruption

repression of anger due to the ideas and advices on anger is not any way helpful to be blissful and free,it is rather more misery
