 Today I did not go to Prabhadevi demoralised by the suggestion of G.Raman. What a decisive and compelling suggestion ?

But with such people better not to argue, for it will lead to their becoming busybodies on my matters. Better to learn the tricks of handling power as well as personal safety from him and such others.

From 2.30 PM watched the much nervously expected India Australia cricket match. The steady 89 of Mark Waugh was not appreciated by me until I saw Sachin, Dravid, Ganguly and Azar packed off for 20, three by McGrath. 

"The duel between Tendulkar and McGrath will be decisive" Times touted. But what a duel it turned out to be. Such an anti-climax , not once, twice, thrice but four times. Where was the duel predicted?

Clearly if there is a Sachin there will be a Glenn.

In the opinion survey , four out five suggested Sachin to bat in the -gain more nens. One man suggested failure. It turned out to be so. A vote for conservatism. Also if a thing has a chance to fail it will fail.

After 17/4 , I thought all will be gone for 50; But Ajay and Robin stood against the same Glenn attack and scored 8o each. It is marvellous. They took risk, but they had no choice.

spoke in the morning and offered to locate central schools for me. If one G-Raman spoils my time there is another S. Nathan who will be making it. Different People have different altitudes towards others but G. Raman must be too much creature-like! 

I have to stick to my time management habit without clashing against anybody, standing on my own feet. I need not expect others' sympathy as well as acrimony. The latter is more dangerous, for all people are very eager and experts in giving out acrimony. They seem to be storing up a lot of heat to release at any trivial opportunity as Moghe did.

Strategy for Schools in Bombay.

 Collect information over phone and through acquaintance. Pursue your work harder than before. Ganpats of Bombay are unimaginably insensitive , ruthless and fraudulent. Ganpat is only an example.

Be alert and on the lookout, CGM sounded serious about quarter and it must be real.

Borivali to Mankhurd takes 3-1/2 hours

 I packed the minimum essential,along with the book, Stephen Covey- 7 Habits, and went straight to Gokul. The ticket price now became 200 and I was immediately occupying a seat in the 130 pm service by Sai travels. I hurriedly got a packet of veg. biriyani and ate it as lunch in the bus itself. 

The bus started from Borivili at 0130 PM. 

 The bus was travelling to various parts of Bombay- Kandivali,Wadala, Bandra, Chembur etc. and picking up passengers to fill it's capacity to half .

After 3½ hours, it left Bombay, via Mankhurd only at 5 PM.

andnd halted at the border of Panvel for tea & O.C brandy for the driver who was handling till then. The barman sold me a Howard's 5000 for 65 instead of Rs. 40.

From Panvel onwards I was watching that both sides of the road hills are stretching but I was later on surprised that during the whole night the bus was traversing hilly terrain, many times scaling the hills on Ghat roads. Till early morning 5 AM, it did not reach level ground and when it reaches it was already in Goa.

Bike taxi driver of Bambo

 Bambolim bike taxi driver who didn't return

The busman asked as to board. another bus to go to Panjim which we did and reached half an hour later a point in Panjim . 

When I have climbed down two or three youths on Scooter and motorbike, enquired whether we require taxis. I was thinking that he will go and bring a car and the fare will be high. But when the next boy asked it occurred that the motorbike itself is the taxi. 

The boy told that the fare for Bambolim is Rs.30 and he will drop me at my correct address. The boy knew neither Hindi nor English and the conversation took place with the help of signs and gestures.

After a brief bike ride, we came opposite to Bambolim medical college and noticed the board indicating directions to the Telecom stores. The bike taxi boy took me through a wood and brought before the store compound. 

With much ease the VIP room was occupied by me. I enquired with the taxiboy whether he will take me around the tourist spots and he agreed and waited in the room.Due to language problem he could not explain me the fares he will charge. After a while he left at 0630 AM saying he will return at 730 AM but he never returned.

Visited Marine Drive at 5pm,

walking down from Church Gate station via Jai Hind College & Basant singh college for women (Sind Educationall Society) I reached a place opposite the building 'Jyoti Sadan'. Exactly ahead into Arabian Sea is the Malabar Hill jutting into the sea .

I sat on the wall, like many others, which is built where

the sea waves are breaking against the boulders down below. The sound of the waves is mild some times and roaring other times.

10 km from this point is the Mahim Bay and the VSNL, Prabhadevi and Telephone House points.

Nariman point can be seen clearly from here to the south.

High rise buildings of yellow and pink about twenty in number all similar in build, height and style lining the point west to east.

 Marine Drive is not even a poor substitute for the Beach road of Marina in Madras.

 In length width and grandeur Marina Drive is far more

enchanting than Marine Drive.

I broke the spectacles and spoiled the mood. 

Also, the entire stretch of marine drive gets dating couples who display their romance very openly, and boldly.

While the onlookers are eager but embarrassed to watch, the players themselves do not seem to have any bothers. They indulge in show-off care-free.
